Enterprise Solution Architect

What do we expect from you?

As an Enterprise Solution Architect, you will support our customers in the development and management of a stable, high-performance, future-oriented and cost-efficient ICT organization. The customer's business needs and business strategy are central to this.
You analyze the existing environment and evaluate whether it meets the customer's current and future needs.
From a broad ICT knowledge and experience, you can make strategic recommendations on new and alternative technologies, organizational models and methodologies, which can better meet the predefined business objectives.
You discuss the recommendations and choices in a way that the client understands.
You develop and document the retained solutions in collaboration with our partners and consolidate them together with the client, the Project Managers and/or the Program Manager into an executable roadmap or master plan.
Depending on the scope of a project, you take care of the content coordination yourself, or closely follow up the implementation as a member of a project team.
For some customers, you take end-to-end ownership: as Enterprise Solution Architect, you are closely involved in all activities and projects of the entire Cronos Group, which are managed for the customer as a coherent program. You thus oversee the coherent achievement of the customer's objectives.

For their technical implementation, we from COVALENS rely on the many competence centers within the Cronos eco-system: ‘Connecting Cronos’ is what we do! By supervising and coordinating the implementation, we ensure an end-to-end experience for the customer.

To continue to grow and meet our customers’ demands even better, COVALENS is looking for experienced Enterprise Solution Architects to join our team.

Who are you?

You have a master's degree in a technical field or equivalent through experience.
You have a very broad knowledge and long experience in the field of ICT and you are fully up-to-date with the new trends in the market.
You have a good understanding of how complex IT organisations work and help the Customer in its transformation. For this, you can fall back on solid experience as an Architect in one or more of the following domains: Public Cloud, Security, Data Analytics & Data Governance, Application Development, Application Management, Digital Workplace, Datacenter strategies, ...
You have strong written and spoken communication skills.
You are used to working on projects.
You think out-of-the-box and dare to question solutions: you hate standstill and are driven by change, innovation and transformation.
You are a team player and put the common good first.
You are stress-resistant and adapt easily in a dynamically changing context.
You are known as a fluent communicator. You are fluent in Dutch and English and have a good command of French.
Certification in TOGAF or in Solutions Architecture-related fields is a plus.
