Cybersecurity Advisor & Architect

What do we expect from you?

As a Cybersecurity Advisor & Architect, you support our clients in their day-to-day security activities and provide advice on cybersecurity. The customer's business needs and business strategy are key.
You analyze the existing environment and evaluate whether it meets the customer's current and future needs.
You determine in consultation a security roadmap in function of the strategy & business needs to optimize the security maturity.
You advise the customer in rolling out the Cybersecurity strategy.
You discuss the recommendations and choices in a way the customer understands.
In addition, you are the client's first point of contact for everything related to cybersecurity and you also know where to turn to within the Cronos group if the client is faced with other issues.

By supervising and coordinating the implementation, we ensure an end-to-end experience for the customer.

In the digital world, Cybersecurity is a top priority for every CIO/CISO. To guide our clients in this domain strategically and independently in their security roadmap, Covalens is looking for a Cybersecurity Advisor & Architect.

Who are you?

You have a bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent through experience.
You have already built a nice career in the field of ICT and security and you are fully up-to-date with the new trends in the market.
Having experience with relevant technologies (such as Cloud and Data Centre infrastructure, Networking, Servers & Hosting, Virtualisation, Applications, Identity Management, etc.) and how to implement them securely is important.
You have a good knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS and ISO27001.
You have a good understanding of security methodologies, best practices and industry standards.
You have a good understanding of how complex IT organisations work and guide clients in their Cybersecurity strategy.
You hold Cybersecurity related certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ISO Lead Implementer, etc. ... or are willing to obtain these certifications.
You have strong written and spoken communication skills.
You are used to working on projects.
You think out-of-the-box and dare to question solutions: you hate standstill and are driven by change, innovation and transformation.
You are a team player and put the common good first.
You are stress-resistant and adapt easily in a dynamically changing context.
You are known as a fluent communicator. You are fluent in Dutch and English. Fluency in French is a plus.
